Struggling to focus? Chronically overwhelmed? Always losing things, missing deadlines, or forgetting what you just walked into a room to do?
It might be more than stress. It might be ADHD—and we can help you find out.
At Axis Integrated Mental Health, we offer science-backed ADHD testing for adults that provides clear answers and fast access to treatment. We serve patients across Colorado, with clinics in Denver County, Boulder County, and Westminster, Colorado.
Adult ADHD is often misunderstood—and frequently missed. It doesn’t always look like hyperactivity. For many, especially women, it shows up as:
Brain fog, forgetfulness, and zoning out
Trouble staying organized or on task
Emotional reactivity or frustration
A constant feeling of burnout or overwhelm
If you’ve been told “you’re just anxious” or “try harder,” you’re not alone. The truth is, ADHD is real—and treatable. But it starts with understanding how to get tested as an adult near you.
Most of us grew up thinking ADHD looked like a hyperactive little boy bouncing off the walls. But in adults—especially women—ADHD often shows up as:
Chronic disorganization
Difficulty finishing tasks
Forgetfulness or zoning out in conversations
Emotional outbursts or sensitivity
Constant overwhelm or burnout
Feeling like your brain never slows down
Because these symptoms are internal, they often get mistaken for anxiety, depression, or just “not trying hard enough.” That’s why proper testing is essential.
We use Creyos, a clinically validated digital testing tool that evaluates key brain functions associated with ADHD—like attention, working memory, and impulse control. Here's how it works:
Digital Cognitive Testing (Creyos): Complete a series of short tasks on a computer or tablet. It’s not a pass/fail test—just data about how your brain functions.
Clinical Interview: You’ll talk with a licensed psychiatric provider about your medical history, symptoms, and experiences.
Symptom Scales & Functional Review: You’ll complete assessments that look at how ADHD symptoms show up in daily life.
The test takes approximately 30 minutes and costs $150 out-of-pocket.
Wherever you are on the Front Range, we’re nearby and ready to help. You can book an appointment with a provider below via telehealth or in person. All tests are conducted online.

Yes. In order to prescribe stimulant medications like Adderall or Vyvanse, we must have objective testing results on file. You do not have to test again if you were previously diagnosed, and you can send those records to us. This ensures safe and accurate treatment and protects your long-term health.
If your assessment indicates ADHD, you’ll receive:
A personalized treatment plan
Access to medication management, therapy, and possibly TMS.
Follow-ups to ensure your treatment is working
And if it’s not ADHD? We’ll help you figure out what else might be going on—like anxiety, depression, or trauma—and connect you with the right care.
Axis Integrated Mental Health offers more than a diagnosis—we offer a path forward. Our care model combines psychiatry, therapy, and advanced treatments under one roof. We’re:
