Tiffany Lawrence: Psychiatric Care for Depression, Anxiety, and Neurodivergence in Denver
Tiffany Lawrence, PMHNP, a psychiatric nurse practitioner at Axis Integrated (with offices in Boulder, Denver, and Westminster), brings medical precision, creative energy, and lived experience to her practice.

Whether you're battling burnout, navigating neurodivergence, or just trying to feel like yourself again, Tiffany offers a refreshingly human approach to healing.

From Neurology to Psychiatry: Tiffany’s Journey

Tiffany’s path into psychiatry began in home health and neurology, where she supported patients with dementia and their families.

This early work shaped her ability to connect with people in emotional distress, especially when answers are hard to find.

“I enjoyed hearing their stories and guiding them and their families through some of the most difficult points in their lives.”

Since then, Tiffany has worked in:

  • Inpatient psychiatric hospitals
  • Withdrawal management programs
  • Residential treatment for neurodivergent adolescents
  • Outpatient clinics
  • Rural hospital consulting

She’s seen how fragmented the mental health system can be, and she’s passionate about helping patients feel supported, informed, and heard.

Clinical Training with a Purpose

Tiffany earned her degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston and has since developed a wide range of skills to support patients across the mental health spectrum.

Whether you're facing depression, anxiety, burnout, or treatment-resistant depression, she brings both evidence-based tools and creative approaches to care.

A Partner in Healing

“I’m an aerialist. I specialize in dance and flying trapeze. It’s my creative outlet and my therapy.”

When she’s not working with patients, she’s sewing her own outfits, thrifting, studying Spanish, or spending time with her bird, Bandit.

Tiffany practices what she teaches: mental health is movement, connection, and self-expression.

What she brings to every session

  1. Deep listening without judgment
  2. Trust-building and trauma sensitivity
  3. Creative behavioral activation tools
  4. Expert psychiatric medication management
  5. Guidance for patients with neurodivergent conditions
  6. Support for mental health during pregnancy

“Success used to mean wealth. Now, it means freedom. I want my patients to feel free, too.”

Clinical Insight + Curiosity

Tiffany is especially passionate about:

  • Creative exercise as therapy (“Any joyful movement counts.”)
  • Reducing stigma for people facing severe or misunderstood diagnoses
  • Improving access to care for underserved communities

What She Wants You to Know

  • You don’t have to feel “bad enough” to get help.
  • Movement heals, but it should never feel like punishment.
  • Self-expression isn’t frivolous; it’s therapeutic.
  • You deserve a provider who sees you, not just your symptoms.
